The area today known as Penn's Landing (http://www.ushistory.org/tour/tour_landing.htm) stretches along the Delaware and encompasses the spot where William Penn, Philadelphia's founder, first touched ground in his "greene country towne." After Penn's arrival, this area quickly became the center of Philly's maritime soul and the city's dominant commercial district.
And the Benjamin Franklin bridge seen in the above pic is one of the few bridges which connects PA and NJ. The place where I’m standing is PA (Pennsylvania) and the other side is NJ (New Jersey).more snaps...

Another major development at my side is that I gave the knowledge test for learner’s permit and now I’m legally authorized to learn driving in US roads :) Infact I have already started driving in the streets on a Volkswagen Jetta and this is the steering wheel i held for the first time outside India :))
